Safe in God's Will

  • Safe in God’s Will

For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God you may receive the promise. (Hebrews 10:36 NKJV)

All of us have trials in our lives, and for each trial we have three choices:

We can endure our trials, but when we do we risk becoming bitter.

We can escape by running away from our trials, but when we do we leave the place where God can help us. When we escape our troubles, we can sometimes make matters worse instead of better.

We can enlist our troubles to God. That is, we can let God use the trials in our lives to make us better. When we do this, we allow God to help us grow in His way. God is always available to help us and guide us, we just have to turn to Him and pray for His will.

Safe in the will of God, that’s where we need to be. No matter how difficult our situation, our safest place is always in the will of God. And it’s in the will of God that we receive His promise and reward.

When you seek God first in your daily pursuits, He promises to add unto you those things which you were pursuing (as long as they are in His will). Placing Him first in your life should be your daily goal, the main pursuit in the midst of all your other pursuits.
