  • FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT - JOY

    .

    .

The second fruit of the Spirit is joy.

    .

    .

Bible verses about joy can help Christians who may be going through a difficult season as a reminder of calm happiness through faith in God.

    .

    .

The biblical definition of joy says that joy is a feeling of good pleasure and happiness that is dependent on who Jesus is rather than on who we are or what is happening around us. Joy comes from the Holy Spirit, abiding in God's presence and from hope in His word.

    .

    .

Joy describes a feeling of inner gladness, delight or rejoicing. This inner gladness leads to a cheerful heart and a cheerful heart leads to cheerful behavior. The most important attribute of joy is that you can find joy in adversity.

    .

    .

Joy is an attitude of the heart determined by confidence in God. Real, genuine joy is a byproduct of having a strong and intimate relationship with Christ. To truly know Christ is to truly have joy.

    Psalm 63:7-8 (ESV)

    .

“For You have been my help, and in the shadow of Your wings I will sing for joy. My soul clings to You; Your right hand upholds me.”

Can I get an amen? Thank you so much and God bless.
