"I prayed to the LORD, and He answered me. He freed me from all my fears." (Psalm 34:4 NLT)
As I sit and ponder the word that is about to be released, I find it amazing as to the way a prophetic word is birthed and released into the earth. Many would say that it is just merely a person being blessed with the gift of prophecy, or perhaps that the favor of God rests upon certain individuals through whom He chooses to release His words into the earth realm. Perhaps even others may think that it is simply just a person who walks intimately with the Lord who knows and understands His heart.
Although many of these attributes may play a role in the delivery of a prophetic word from Heaven, I believe the whole process goes much deeper than that.
The Courts of Heaven
"Then I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, 'You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God.' For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." (Revelation 19:10 ESV)
I love what the end of that verse teaches us. It says, "For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." In short, a prophetic word is exactly the same word that Jesus is speaking in the courts of Heaven! Let's dive a bit deeper to see what is taking place here.
"...For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." (Revelation 19:10 ESV)
"Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour." (1 Peter 5:8 ESV)
"My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous." (1 John 2:1 ESV)
"For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 ESV) (Photo via Pixabay)
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us." (Hebrews 12:1 ESV)
"Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise! Give thanks to Him; bless His name!" (Psalm 100:4 ESV)
"Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on Earth shall be bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on Earth shall be loosed in Heaven." (Matthew 18:18 ESV)
Testimony, adversary, advocate, mediator, witnesses, courts, bind and loose... all of these words are courtroom words! So, if Jesus is delivering verdicts and rulings in the courts of Heaven, then these words need to be delivered into the earth realm. He chooses His prophets to be His voice. Once a word is released into the earth, it does great damage to the kingdom of darkness while advancing the Kingdom of Heaven!
Consequently, the enemy of our souls wants to do everything possible to stop these words, verdicts, and rulings from entering the earth. He will, in any way possible, intentionally battle the prophets to deny, delay, question, and quench the words that they are meant to deliver. He knows that a word which is precisely delivered from the courts of Heaven is legally binding and will do the work it was intended to do, and will not return void!
I've heard it said that the words of a prophet are heard by many, but the battles they endure are seen by few! This word came as no exception! The very word you are about to read brought an onslaught to my body for over a day! The battle was intense, but the victory is sure!
Now stand with me as we agree together and receive our victory!
I Am the Lord of the Breakthrough!
I hear the Lord say, "Many are on the verge of breakthrough! There are those who have battled fear and anxiety for as long as you can remember. However, I tell you to lift your eyes because your redemption draws near!"
"I know You are about to arise and show Your tender love to Zion. Now is the time, Lord, for Your compassion and mercy to be poured out—the appointed time has come for Your prophetic promises to be fulfilled!" (Psalm 102:13 TPT)
The Lord says, "I am the Lord of the breakthrough! I have heard your cries and I am moving mightily on your behalf! You will walk in a new found freedom that you have not previously known! I am healing your sleep cycles! Your nervous system is being healed and reset! Traumatic responses of 'fight or flight' tendencies are being broken! Destructive thought patterns are being rewired and peace is being renewed! I am healing you at the cellular level! (Photo via Pexels)
"I see those who are on the verge of losing hope, but I say to you this day, I am restoring ALL! I am lifting you out of the ash heap and placing your feet upon a solid rock! I am giving you a new song to sing. It will be a song of victory to the masses!"
"He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what He has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the LORD." (Psalm 40:3 NLT)
The Lord says, "For some, fear and anxiety have been a deeply rooted generational issue that has run deep in their bloodline, but I say to you this day that it ends with you! You are the breaker! My breaker anointing is anointing you now! Your deepest heartache and struggle have now become your areas of anointing and freedom! Now, take My anointing and bring freedom to others! Truly, you are breaking new ground! I have called you to be a pioneer who will pave the way for your children and for future generations (Psalm 102:18).
"By faith, begin to lift your praise to Me! Open your mouth and agree with the courtroom decision from Heaven concerning these issues! As it is written, you will decide on a matter, and it will be established for you, and light will shine on your ways (Job 22:28 ESV). Rejoice! Peace is being restored and victory over fear is assured!"
